The Launch of Kushae
Kushae came about from an innocent conversation between our founders, Dr. Barbara McLaren and Kimba Williams, while on a girl’s trip. Dr. Barb and The Natural Diva got to swapping ideas and sharing insights on chemical-free solutions to common feminine care issues, like yeast infections, bacterial vaginosis (BV), and many more.
Our doctor-diva duo launched Kushae because they both believe that your feminine health should never be compromised. So, Kushae was created out of the lived experiences of Dr. Barb and Kimba The Natural Diva as professionals in the medical industry and their personal lives. Dr. Barb says that “as a breast cancer survivor, I began to understand just how toxic our current environments can be. Everything from the foods we eat, to the products we put on our skin need to be examined for their potential harmful effects on our health and our lives." As for our Natural Diva, Kimba Williams recounts that “for over 15 years as a pharmaceutical sales professional, I walked in and out of doctor's offices and hospitals. I witnessed rooms full of sick people who were so ill, that their very lives were dependent on the drugs I sold. As a result, I knew early on that the decisions about what I put in and on my body need to be a more proactive, conscious choice and not just a random option at the grocery store."

Our Mission
Kushae’s mission is to break the cycle of overuse of antibiotics and harmful chemicals in feminine products. We are on a mission to detoxify the world one Kushae at a time. We are beyond confident that Kushae’s chemical-free feminine products can assist in reducing the overall toxic impact in the lives of women. We aim to give women back their voices in advocating for feminine health and hygiene and to insist on natural products made especially for women, by women.

We understand how important education is, so we made it our priority to educate women on the importance of vaginal care and maintenance. We continue to strive for the best, all-natural ingredients that are gentle, effective, and safe for sensitive and non-sensitive skin. In the rare cases that we cannot find all-natural ingredients, we use the safest and most effective alternative for our feminine health products.
You can count on Kushae to never use harmful and synthetic ingredients such as parabens, sulfates, alcohol*, glycerin, harmful perfumes, dyes, EDTA, SLS, phthalates, or any other ingredients you cannot pronounce.
